RGB LED Strip Lights

Below you will find 12V, 24V, and 110V color changing RGB strip lights. These tape lights use the RGB chip which used red, green, and blue to make all of the colors of the spectrum including white. The RGB strips will need to be connected to a controller in order to tell it what color to make. The controller would then need to be connected to a power supply. In the example below, we are using a 24V transformer for a 24V reel. Here is a sample connection diagram for a simple RGB kit.

What voltage should I choose?

You can choose between 12V, 24V, and 110V on our site. There are more options available out there but these are the most common.

  • Choose 110V if you have a long run and want to just have something easy and simple to connect. The 110V reels can run up to 320 ft continuous. So it is great for outdoor installations that have a very long run.
  • 12V and 24V have limits on long of a run you can have before you connect it back to power due to voltage drop. 12V reels have a max run of 16' so it can be tedious if you need to light up something which is about 90 continuous feet since you would need to put in an amplifier every 16'. The maximum run you should have for a 24V reel would be 32' or 10 meters. This gives you more flexibility because you can have a longer run before you have to put in an amplifier or new controller.
